Volleyball Basics

Volleyball is a well known sport recognized in the world. but how to play volleyball? Is it really that hard? How can we control the ball? Those are the questions that always linger through the minds of people that are aspiring players of their generation.

There are three basic volleyball moves. First is the 'DIG', next is the 'SET', and lastly, the 'SPIKE'. These are the basic moves used in playing this sport. Now let's talk about playing this so-called volleyball.

Dig is the term that simply implies "receiving". This move is used on receiving the ball and making the ball controlled.

The next step is the setting of the ball. This technique is used for setting up a play or making a step for killing the ball. this is the most critical move because the setter needs to be more aggressive and  and he is the brain of the game.

Last basic technique is the spiking. Spiking refers to the offense of the team.

There two additional moves in volleyball.

Serving is one of them. it is the move that refers to making the ball into play.

Next is the blocking. this refers to a defensive style of simply not letting the ball go to the premises of your court. This move is a very crucial thing and need timing.
